Rating Old Official Percy Jackson Art

 Have you seen the official PJO art? 

Aha. No. No. Not that stuff. The OLD official art, which I will now be rating.

 

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way hating on the artist. He is a good artist with a good style, these just aren't his best work, and I don't think he should have portrayed some of the characters this way. 

Now, this is really not that bad. It looks like a 12-year-old Annabeth, which was 

probably how old she was when this art was created. 9/10.

Again, this looks fine. It looks like Ares and he's got cool sunglasses. 9/10.

 

Athena - She looks like she's about to break her neck- 7/10

Calypso looks very nice. I think it's a good representation of her. 9/10.

Chiron - this one, again, is pretty accurate. This one's alright. 8.5/10.

 

Grover - Now here's where we get to an extremely bad one. 

This is sure to haunt my nightmares. I absolutely hate it. 0/10.

 

Hazel - Well, I did think her skin was a little darker, and I thought 

she canonically had blonde hair? Correct me if I'm wrong. 7/10

 

Jason - I hate this so much. He looks like a ten-year-old. That outfit

is hideous. And this angle is not doing him any favors. 2/10.

 

Leo - another nightmare-inducing portrait. Again with the 

weird angles. 1/10.

 

Luke - First, this weird middle part. Second, no. 4/10.

 

Nico - THE AMOUNT OF DISGUST AND HORROR I AM FEELING

RIGHT NOW CANNOT BE DESCRIBED. GOOD-BYE, I AM GOING

TO BLEACH MY EYEBALLS. -1000/10.

 

Octavian - I hate to say it, but this is an accurate representation. 10/10.

 

Piper - Well, you can't really see her face, but this is okay. 7/10.

 

 

 

 

Percy - *sigh* I know he's supposed to be 12 when this was

made. But that baby face. And the hair?? Ugh- 5/10.

 

Poseidon - Now this! Look at this! Very accurate. 9/10.

 

Rachel - I... that hair is so... stringy. 5/10. 

 

Reyna - I mean, it's alright?? 6/10. 

 

Thalia - Alright, so, an extremely punk Thalia here. But

again with the baby face. 5/10. 

 

Tyson - It's not bad. 8/10. 

 

Zeus - thankfully, we're finishing this up with a good one. This 

is pretty much how I imagine Zeus. 8/10.

Overall, the worst ones were Grover, Leo, and (shudder) Nico. Which one was your least favorite?
