All-Time Favorite Books
I did a post like this a while ago, but it's inaccurate now and I don't want to go back and update it, so: these are my all-time favorite books! I of course had to include a little bit of commentary. Please check them all out, they're excellent.
Stand-alones:
- The Secret Keepers. This is an essential. YOU. MUST. READ. THIS.
- Wonder. Haven't read it a while.
- Abbie and Maggie's Neverending Pillow Fort. I read this like three years ago, reread it recently and it's as good as ever.
- My Diary From The Edge of The World. I don't often get attached to characters from standalones but you're looking at the exception.
- The Artifact Hunters. I barely remember what it was about but it was amazing and very well-written.
- The Most Frightening Story Ever Told. Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds.
Books with sequels.
- The Candymakers. Again, this is a must-read.
- Book Scavenger. I actually haven't read the sequel yet hehe
- Jinxed. One of the rare times I will find a science fiction book and love it.
Trilogies
- Nevermoor. I love Nevermoor! It's written in such a nice way. There's a fourth book coming out in October, so stay tuned.
- Winterhouse. Ahhh, Winterhouse.
- A Tale of Magic (spinoff of The Land of Stories). The plot is so good, but the writing is so poor :sob:
- Bad Magic. Mr. Bosch 😎
Series
- Harry Potter (7 books). Because of course.
- Keeper of the Lost Cities (8.5 books and counting). My main obsession, currently. Comment '✌' if you're waiting anxiously for Stellarlune >.<
- Wings of Fire (15 books, plus 2 prequels and 5 graphic novels). We all know the HP fans. We all know the KotLC fans. But WoF fans will take over the world.
- Percy Jackson (5 books and 2 companions, I think?). I read this recently and whoops, guess who just found another fandom-
- Heroes of Olympus (5 books maybe?). Currently reading this! It's part of the same universe as PJO.
- Greenglass House (2 books, 2 prequels, 2 spinoffs).Mmm, a mystery/ghost story set in a hotel at Christmas time. Sound familiar? :coughsinwinterhouse:
- The Land of Stories (six books, several companions). Best fairy-tale spinoff you will ever read.
- The Sister's Grimm (9 books). Second only to The Land of Stories as far as fairy-tale parodies go.
- The Series of Unfortunate Events (13 books). Rather depressing but fun all the same.
- All The Wrong Questions (spinoff of Series of Unfortunate Events). Best mystery since Greenglass House!
- The Penderwicks (5 books). I almost feel wrong recommending this. The Penderwicks has always been a very private experience to me for some reason.
- Warriors (43 books, 14 super editions, 16 graphic novels, 17 novellas, and 6 field guides and counting) . Get comfortable. We've got a long way to go.
- The Mysterious Benedict Society. If you already know what this is, you're a cool person.
- The Secret Series.
Read this bookDon't read this. - Magic Tree House. THIS IS MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD AND I HAVE SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES OF IT YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO READ THIS N E V E R
Graphic Novels
- The Weirn Books. This is so good, it made me feel like I was watching a cartoon instead of reading!
- Beetle and the Hollowbones. I love cute graphic novels like this.
- Wings of Fire graphic novels. The first WoF arc but ✨graphic novel version✨
- Séance Tea Party. This was such a sweet book and it made me cry a little bit 😭
- Phoebe and her Unicorn. These are so funny, I love them.
So that was my favorite books! Let me know if you've read any of them, and if you haven't, you totally should!
Ciao ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
i love Harry Potter and Magic Tree House and Phoebe and her Unicorn!
