The Magical Unicorn Society Official Handbook Review

[PLEASE NOTE: this is an OLD post. Information in this post may no longer be accurate and/or be cringy 😑]

Are you a unicorn lover? Do you spend hours dreaming up Pegasus buddies to accompany you on your adventures? Do you profusely refuse to believe that unicorns aren’t real? Then The magical Unicorn Society Official Handbook is for you!

This is an excellent guide to the world of unicorns. It was created by the Magical Unicorn Society, a group that has studied and protected unicorns for centuries. It showcases all seven of the unicorn species from around the world: Desert Flames, Ice Wanderers, Mountain Jewels, Woodland Flowers, Storm Chasers, Water Moons, and Shadow Nights. There is even a guide to what they eat, what their hoof prints look like, and what time of day you can sight them. A brief history of unicorns is also included.

What I was most excited about was the map. It shows where unicorn species usually live. Unfortunately, I live in an area where the only unicorns around are the most elusive kind, the mysterious Shadow Nights. You also have to stay up really late to see them. These unicorns are said to be the bridge between the waking and sleeping worlds. They really only appear in visions, so “there has been much debate over the existence of Shadow Nights,” says Selwyn Phipps, the current president of the Society and who also wrote this book.

Everyone has a guardian unicorn. It’s a unicorn that protects and helps you. Take the quiz at the end of the book to find out which species it is!

I love this book. I have never found anything like it. Five stars! I strongly recommend it, and I’m sure you’ll love it. Unicorn lovers, unite!
