Greenglass House Book Review

This book is so good! It’s a series, let me list the books:

  • Greenglass House The original.
  • Ghosts of Greenglass House The Sequel.
  • The Left-Handed Fate The prequel.
  • Bluecrowne The prequel to the prequel
  • The Thief Knot This happens after Ghosts of Greenglass House.
  • The Raconteur’s Commonplace Book A companion book.

So that’s a lot but I love them ALL. Greenglass House is about a boy named Milo whose parents run a smugglers’ inn in Nagspeake. The inn never has ANY guests in the winter – but all of a sudden, strange guests start arriving. Things get stolen. Stories are told. And it’s up to Milo and Meddy, the cook’s daughter, to solve the mystery before it’s too late.

The sequel continues the story a year later for another holiday season. The prequels tell about the history of Greenglass House. The Thief Knot is about a new character in Ghosts of Greenglass House. The Racontuer’s Commonplace Book is a book that Milo reads in the first and second books.

Now. Which are my favorites?

Well, they’re all so good, but I LOVE The Thief Knot. And, The Left-Handed Fate! I read that one two times before I returned it to the library.

Ack, you wouldn’t even believe how many times I’ve read these…
