DIY Dollhouse Book Review

I recently read this adorable book on how to create your own dollhouse!!! It’s called D.I.Y. Dollhouse, by Alexia Henrion. It shows you how to build and decorate a dollhouse using easy-to-find materials.

So, to build the house, you have to find some wooden crates and glue them together (I’m going to use shoe boxes instead). Think about what rooms would fit inside each crate. You can cover the inside with wrapping paper for wallpaper, and fuzzy fabric for carpet.

And then it goes on to explain how to create furniture for each room. The rooms it includes are: Living room, bathroom, teenager’s bedroom, children’s bedroom, kitchen, bedroom, and patio.

The pictures of the finished rooms are very inspiring. The black and white photos, though, were not necessary. But it was good how the photographer took photos of each room from all angles. It really made me feel like I was in a tiny world.

P.S. The toilet was way too realistic.
