Muse Magazine Review
[PLEASE NOTE: this is an OLD post. Information in this post may no longer be accurate and/or be cringy 😑]
Muse. It means to ponder, to think. And this magazine certainly makes you do just that.
Muse is a science magazine for kids nine to fourteen. And I can tell you, it changed my life. Most of the cool science facts I know came from Muse. Did you know:
- That a T-Rex’s closest living relative is a chicken?
- That dogs are red-green color blind?
- That in the Netherlands in the 1630s, tulip bulbs were a form of currency?
- That scientists have discovered a sea cucumber that looks like a carrot?
- That boredom is good for you?
- That a professional ballerina can wear out several pairs of pointe shoes per show?
I really am thankful for Muse. It has opened my mind to so many new things. Whenever I struggle to understand anything in science in school, or need to do some research, I find a Muse.
Muse covers so many different topics: communication, deep sea exploration, artificial intelligence, money, transportation…..the list goes on and on and on.
Muse is, without a doubt, the best magazine in the universe. I strongly recommend you try it. And even if you don’t want to sign up for it, your local library should have it (after they reopen, of course).
P.S. In every issue they have a “Muse News” which you have to find the false story in. One of the facts that I gave you was false! Which one?
